We had a smaller than usual family gathering this year. Caitlin, Jim, and little Maddox were at the national dance competitions in Gatlinburg. One of her dance teams won the National Championship overall! The trophy is taller than Caitlin! Huge win and congrats to Caitlin and her dancers! Sara Frances spent the 4th at the beach with Harley's family; G'mama at the Kirbys; Thomas, Laura and kids, in Tenn; Stacie and Travis, on Lake Murray; Gary and Peggy with her parents; Craig, Deb, and kids enjoyed their neighborhood parade; etc. We did have Buddy, Tom and Janice, and Seth,Melissa, and Owen. The weather was perfect and Owen was adorable! Hopefully, next year we will not be so spread out and can get more of the family together. Of course, with cell phones and pic texting, we were "together" all day! ha
