Our beautiful 15 year old granddaughter, Rena - better known as Ree, not to be confused with "ReeRee" as she so corrected me on that:) - just completed her freshman year of high school, with super grades in the honors track no less! So proud! She also wrapped up her dance and modeling programs in May and early June. Next week, Ree looks forward to her youth group's annual beach camp experience and in July, she will participate in a mission trip. Her life is bittersweet right now as she looks forward to her new home in the Atlanta area, new high school of 4,000 students (wow), new youth group friends, etc. but with the uncertainty of leaving her comfort zone here in the big city of LA. Rena has such a sweet, loving spirit and will make the transition fine I believe, with Vee's reassurance that she can visit any time she wants her doting grandmother to rescue her from her new neighborhood with its pool, tennis courts, lake, ... oh and minutes from the mall, etc. Yeah... I'm sure she will be calling me every day or so to haul her back:) haha
In all fairness to Rena, she does want it known that she LOVES her hometown and one day would like to come back here to live. Time will tell as Miss Ree also expresses her love for Atlanta. Bach and Vee will certainly miss her as well as Mom, Dad, Maddox, and Jack, but are so happy for them and this exciting time in their lives.
