Gamecock Country

Columbia is a great place for SEC football! We are still torn between our Farmers Market tailgate with Tom & Janice and our new space at Carolina Walk. Usually, we spend some time at each tailgate, visiting friends along the way.
Last weekend, however, we decided to "stay put" and I must say it was nice not to have to drag our cooler over to the "market". We got to enjoy the band, watch lots of football on tv, and relax. We did miss seeing Thomas & Laura who drove all the way from Franklin, TN to see the Gamecocks. Sorry, Carsons, but we were entertaining Harley's parents plus had grill issues with our cheap Walmart table top grill that didn't work! ha. Eventually though, some fellow Gamecocks heard about our problem and sent a charcoal grill via golf cart to our tailgate. Sweet!

We also missed our babies. Caitlin & Jim had pumpkin carving at the studio and later some of the dancers performed at the amphitheater. I offered (begged) to take Maddox with us, but that didn't go over too well. Caitlin says she is close to letting her baby boy spend the night though, so maybe sometime soon...
Seth, Melissa, and Owen cheered the Tigers on in Clemson. Owen can already growl like a Tiger and his response to "Go Gamecocks" is "Boo Chickens"! He may not understand the rivalry, but he knows it's funny and smiles when he says it. I must admit, my little Owen does look good in orange!
