Bach and V V took Owen to the lake Wednesday afternoon. Owen loved the screened porch and throwing rocks into the lake. On Thursday, Sara Frances and Harley drove from Columbia to squeeze in a few hours of lake fun. This was Harley's first visit to our lakehouse. We went out in the boat to watch the sunset Thursday. Sara Frances skiied that evening for the first time this summer. On Friday, we played on the water all day. Harley tried water skiing which proved to be no problem for him (why are we not surprised?). Even with a broken hand, he popped right up on two, dropped a ski, and off he went on one! Amazing.
Other events of the day included visiting the Kirby's lakehouse, hunting golf balls at Stoney Point, meeting Seth, Melissa, and Owen at Subway for a little "fishing" trip for Owen, and ending the day with tic-tack-putt back at our house. Harley and Sara Frances also tried pier fishing. Sara Frances had to work Saturday, so our time was cut short, but we plan to have many more days at the lake this summer.
