I could not resist taking the babies for an afternoon stroll before leaving for another weekend in Columbia. Owen and Maddox were dressed in matching baseball outfits. Both had their little blankies (Owen loves the tag on his monkey) and soon drifted off to sleep. After the stroll, Maddox was dropped off at Mom's dance studio while Owen continued his nap for about another hour at Bach and V V's. After naptime, Owen enjoyed a snack with milk and, of course, collecting sticks to take to Mama and Dah.
USC played Ole Miss in baseball and won the first of the three game series. Ole Miss is #1 in the SEC West so this is a huge win. Harley made an awesome catch in the top of the ninth and got a well deserved standing ovation. After the game, a little boy took a baseball to Harley for an autograph. He looked up to Harely and said, "Ya'll won good!" Priceless!
In this post - Harley's autographs his grandmother's Sarge Frye shirt; Meagan and James celebrate James's grand-slam; and Kristen, Sara Frances, and Codi have a little fun while waiting on the guys to get out of the locker room.
Also, Harley steals second; Codi and Sara Frances make Gamecock Central news again (pregame); Carolina girls - Kristen, Sara Frances, Morgan, and Codi; Harley autographs the little USC dress of the youngest fan at Saturday's game - 2 week old, 6 pounds, McKenzie Lail, daughter of Daniel (cousin) and wife, Starr. McKenzie was definitely the main attraction at this game!
Other pics are highlights of the weekend series with Ole Miss. Great games - fun weekend!
